Vehicle Break-In Shows Just How Irresistible One Popular Candy Is

By Regina Young

KitKat bars are notoriously irresistible, as foreseen in their catchy commercials where people want just a “break of that KitKat bar.” There’s no telling just how far people will go to get that break, though. One Kansas State University student has recently claimed that someone committed car burglary on his vehicle, all in the name of a KitKat bar.

Hunter Jobbins tweeted out a photo of a note that a car burglar left inside of his car. It read:

“Saw KitKat in your cup holder. I love KitKats so I checked your door and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the KitKat. I am sorry and hungry,” the suspect wrote on a napkin.

Jobbins says that the thief stayed true to his word and didn’t take anything from the car other than the candy bar.

He claims he was only gone for 15 minutes or so, which is why he left the car unlocked. The stolen candy bar, though, has made him think twice about always locking his doors.
