People Can’t Believe As Woman Lures Unleashed Dog Into NYC Traffic

New York City streets can be very dangerous for humans, much more for dogs. That is why pet owners are advised to keep an eye on their pets because dogs that aren’t properly leashed can be in great danger because of the busy streets. Any pooch who strolls into traffic will always find himself in a life-and-death situation.

This white woman and an Asian-American man were in an argument on the side of the road. As it turned out, the woman was arguing with the man about why his dog wasn’t on a leash. New York has well-defined leash laws to keep dogs safe in busy areas that are usually too difficult for them to safely navigate on their own.

At first, the womans’ question seemed to be out of care for the pooch. But her follow-up was making it all the more disturbing.

The incident started when the elderly woman asked the younger gentleman if he’d ever “heard of a leash in the city.” Later on, you would know why she is very angry at this situation. The man started filming her when it became clear that her problem was not because of her concern for the dog, but had an underlying layer of racial bigotry. And what he managed to capture with his phone camera is very disturbing.

The woman who was so angry at him then told the dog’s owner to go back to his “own country.” While recording, the man asks the woman to repeat what she said. He’s still trying to stay calm and asks what country exactly he’s supposed to go back to. She was obviously taken aback by this question. The man then told her that perhaps a “cat got your tongue?”

The woman was at a loss for words, but only for a couple of seconds…

She started threatening him that she would call the police. But what she didn’t realize was that she was putting herself in real danger to everyone involved. After his quick response, the elderly woman then clapped her hands. She was doing this to try to catch the unleashed dog’s attention and she was doing it on purpose. She surely has something else in mind.

The angry woman keeps trying to get the dogs’ attention while walking further back into the path of traffic. This was not a successful attempt at first, but eventually, the dog does catch on to the noise that she’s making and begins to follow her.

The dog’s owner quickly chased after the pooch. It was clear to him that the woman was trying to get the dog to the oncoming trafficking and get it killed. Thankfully, the dog’s owner was quick to save it from the danger.

And now, people around them have started to take notice of the potentially deadly confrontation. A female bystander takes a moment to step in and verbally tells the woman of her racist accusations. The bystander also points how the woman had been trying to lure the innocent and trusting dog out into NYC’s highway traffic.

The dog’s owner then stops recording as soon as the police arrive. Still, it’s unclear what exactly happened at that point. Hopefully, the man and his dog got home safe. And the dog owner may think about this situation every time he lets his dog out on the streets with, unleashed.
