On your opinion, what do you think is a good parenting choice when it comes to the child’s sexual orientation?

Gender equality is becoming more and more accepted these days. This is why many parents in the United States are opening up their children to the outside of the traditional gender norms. Doing so will give the kids the freedom to play with any toys that they want even though they are not intended for their gender. They can also wear clothes available for both sexes.

According to many parents, children who are given the freedom to make their own choices feel safer and more secure in their lives. These kids would be able to differentiate their own genders based on their feelings once they get older. And this is what the parents of these babies want for their “theybies.”

In 2011, this Canadian parents became extremely controversial after they decided to “not decide” when it comes to the gender of their babies. They do not want to give them any gender labels. The parents of these kids explain that what they are doing can help break the cycle of gender stereotypes. They probably feel that they are doing kids of the next generation a favor.

They believe that their twin babies should be raised in a gender-neutral world. And this is exactly what they are doing!

As soon as they found out that they were expecting, they knew that they would have a struggle with the traditional gender reveals that many soon-to-be-parents are so excited about. When they discovered that they are going to be parents soon, their babies were already 20 weeks old. This means that the gender of their babies was already forming. That the fetus already had an emotional attachment to the sex.

They believe that if they bring their children into a world where gender is not being questioned, they can create a neutral gender position for them. This way, they are giving their kids their own freedom to discover their own personality once they are born, and eventually choose their preferred gender.

When their story became viral, the question about how to raise their children, whether he or she became apparent. Will the parents associate their twins as one gender or prefer the other?

For many parents, the gender reveal is their chance to get comfortable with the gender of the child that they will be having. Also, this gives them the time to prepare the baby’s essentials. So during the reveal, the result can either be pink or blue. That means that when its pink, it’s a girl. And when it’s blue, then the baby is a boy.

If you have kids at home, you will notice that even young children associate the color with their gender. This is because of how they were brought up into adulthood. Their gender and everything associated with it becomes their guide or their influence as they grow up. There were studies that also suggest that the gender of a child is associated with the environment that they are being subjected to.

And this is what these parents want to change.

What they are hoping is that other parents from all around the world would also be open to bringing up their child in a neutral gender home.
