Girl can’t afford a horse, trains a cow to jump instead

By Kyle

Hannah Simpson wanted a horse, unfortunately, they were too expensive.  The now 18-year-old New Zealander chose the next best thing, a cow.

Hannah and her dairy cow Leila are a regular sight on their daily rides in the New Zealand town of Invercargill, according to The Guardian.

“Leila was only six months then and I was just a midget. It was a dare from my brother to jump on and she seemed OK with it so we kept going. Before then I’d only ridden a pony twice, and a sheep.”
