Certain People Upset Over Sign KFC Store Posted, They Refuse To Take It Down

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is one of the most successful fast food chains all over the world. They are not only popular to kids who love fried chicken but also to adults who want good food without waiting a long time to be served. Who doesn’t love KFC.
We have to admit that KFC is part of the staple food of most busy individuals not only because they serve fast food, but also because their food is delicious. Even some of the uniformed police officers find their way into the KFC drive through when they need a quick bite.
The law enforcement officers have been through rough times over the past few years and it’s not getting any better. Many of these men and women in uniform have been singled out and attacked by civilians, assuming that all cops are ‘bad cops’. Their commitment to protecting the public has touched the hearts of a restaurant owner who decided to make a difference once and for all. This is the KFC at Gallipolis, Ohio.
They decided to show these men and women in uniform that their efforts are valued and appreciated and it will never go unnoticed. The sign that they put on their window was the talk of the town until now and even reached different parts of the world.
The sign says:
“All uniformed police officers eat free everyday.”
This sign is to prove to every police officers that Gallipolis, Ohio appreciates their honest work every day while they put their lives on the line just to keep everyone safe and protected. This may not be a huge deal for other people, but a delicious free hot meal is one way to fuel these officers in uniform before, during, and after their tiring day at work.
KFC believes that this may be one of the ways for the officers to keep the streets even safer.
Since the sign was pinned in the KFC window, everything went crazy online! The picture went viral, getting over 5,000 shares and 10,000 likes on Facebook alone. The Facebook post became more famous each day and the store employees joined in to comment on the post and confirm that they are indeed serving all the uniformed police officers, FREE all day, every day.
This act of kindness for the uniformed officers did not receive the support that the public expected them to have. It did not sit well with other people and some of them were not happy about the KFC window sign. Many are complaining, saying that all first response service providers should be included in this offer from KFC and not only the officers in uniform.
Many agreed and one comment on the picture says, “I think it was a nice gesture. Agree, all 1st responders should be included, though volunteer fireman can’t wear his uniform to lunch. ”
The officers of the law are putting their lives on the line in order to make sure that everyone is safe from any possible harms and dangers. We have heard so many stories about brave rescue missions that helped save people’s lives. A free hot meal from KFC could be a start of a simple act of kindness that we should show to these officers who are protecting us.
A meal to keep them fueled for a long day is reasonable enough.
